£3,000 Raised for Men's Mental Health Through Round the Buoys for the Boys

A huge thank you and congratulations to everyone who took part in, supported, or donated to this year's Round the Buoys for the Boys, hosted by Dabchicks Sailing Club.

The event celebrates and promotes men's mental health, recognising the significant positive impact that spending time on the water with friends can have on wellbeing. It is a reminder that simple activities, companionship, and shared experiences can make a real difference.

All funds raised are donated to the local branch of MIND, helping to support vital mental health services within our community.

We are delighted to announce that this year's event raised an outstanding £3,000. Earlier this week, Oli had the pleasure of presenting the cheque on behalf of everyone involved.

The generosity and support shown by participants, volunteers, sponsors, and donors has once again demonstrated the strength of our sailing community.
