ROUND THE BUOY FOR THE BOYS 2026  RACING INFORMATION  

For those unacquainted, the race celebrates what time on the water, with friends, can do for one's mental health. The race is open to all MFOBs and dinghies.    RTBFTB is here to yet-again champion what a few hours on the water, away from it all, with friends, can do for one's mental health. A simple take on it, but one that's hard to argue with.   

• 12th August (Wednesday of Mersea week)
• DSC line.
• 5,4,1 sequence. 
• Start time 1200hrs
• Course - Around the Buoy (Location TBC, it'll be on the sign on sheet)
• DSC Finish
• Prize giving immediately after at the Dabchicks with music from DJ Will Lawrence and complimentary snack courtesy of the club. 
• The bar will be open.

To enter, all you need to do is show up at the DSC and sign on physically with the provided  Sign on Form.   
We'll need:   

• The boat's name
• Your name
• Number of crew
• What it is
• Its PY / MFOB handicap (lol) 

 Please come armed with this information so we can attempt to get some results.   If you'd like to support and not sail, you're very welcome to join us on the water, either just following along or helping support via a safety boat.    To enter, we're asking for a donation to MIND, a charity close to many of our hearts.
