Sunset Series

28th Feb – Pre-entry Open Evening – WMYC at 2000. Don’t know anything about Sunset Series? Think your child may want to sail but don’t know where or how to start? Come for a beer with some of the Sunset team. 8pm at WMYC (due to Dabchicks closure for works). Optional and more useful for non-sailing parents.

1st March – Entries Open

31st Mar – Entries Close

24th April – Diamond Parents Briefing Night – DSC at 1900 – Mandatory briefing for all new parents. How Sunset Series works. What you need to do. How the evening works. How to rig an Optimist.

27th April – Start of Season Cadets Party. Details to follow.

28th April – Boat inspections – Firs Chase Caravan Park at 0900 – Mandatory for Diamond, Emerald, and Bronze Fleet.

27th/28th April – Sunset PB2 Course. Run by the DSC Powerboat School – get your PB2 with other parents. Contact Rachael.humphreys@dabchicks.org for details.

1st May – Safety Briefing – Mandatory for Cadets and Safety Boat crews.

4th May – Peter Clarke’s Optimist Boatyard Opens
