Description
17th Colchester Sea Scout Group (Mersea HQ) have kindly allowed us to hire their facilities for the Hornet Nationals event. 12-16th July 2024.
It is within easy walking distance of the clubhouse and Waterfront and has parking spacing for those staying.
The rooms made up as follows:
Downstairs
1 x 4 Berth (2 sets double bunks)
Upstairs
1 x 6 Berth (3 Sets Double Bunks)
3 x 4 Berth (1 Double Bunk & 2 Single bunks)
3 x 2 Berth (1 Double Bunk)
You will need to bring your own Linen, Bedding & Towels, the scouts have requested you also bring a sheet to go over the mattress.
Toilet Roll & Bin Liners are provided. Plastics, Cardboard, Tins & Glass, recycling is encouraged via the bins are provided.
There are 4 unisex toilet cubicles, 3 Unisex shower cubicles and one Assistance Toilet.
There is a basic kitchen with utensils provided, a number of settees in a communal area, a good Wi-fi connection (with password available upon arrival).
Bunks will be assigned by arrangement with the class officials.
If the booking is cancelled, a fee of £2 per will be retained to cover the transaction fee incurred.
